Journal op Proceedings 81 Character Passed: Question 22 was called, and the names of preachers not hitherto called were called, and the character of each was passed; Collection Taken: A collection was taken for the benefit of Rev. E. T. Ipock, a local preacher who has served a number of years as a supply in this Conference.
A collection was taken for the sextons of the chureli in whieli the sessions of the Conference have been held.
Summer School: G. W. Daniel presented and read the f...ollowing resolution, and it was adopted : Whereas, by action of this body in adopting the report and recommendations of the Board of Managers of the Methodist Sum- mer School the duration of that school has been extended to in- clude two Sundays, and Whereas, the members of this Conference are deeply apprecia- tive of the opportunities offered there for stimulating fellowship, study and growth, and are very anxious to comply with the sug- gestion contained in the report of the Board of Lay Activities and remain through the entire session; Resolved, (1).
