ORPHANAGE: We recommend the apportionment to each charge of an amount equal to 7 per cent of "the total money raised" by the charge in the Conference Year 1946-1947 as reported in our 1947 Journal, less the following five items: Statistical Table 2- A — Amount paid on Indebtedness including Principal and Interest Statistical Table 2-A — Amount paid on Buildings and Improvements Statistical Table 2-B — Amount paid Schools and Colleges Statistical Table 2-B — Amount paid on Crusade for Christ All... special gifts for endowment purposes made either to the Local Church or the orphanage.
All orphanage specials, except that raised by the Woman's Society of Christian Service, are to be credited on the 7 per cent asking.
We further recommend that in order to have the apportionments uniformly calcu- lated that the Business Manager of the Orphanage have the calculations made for Journal of Proceedings 73 each charge, inform each charge of the amount, and furnish each District Superin- tendent with a report for his District.
