Ewing offered for consideration and adoption, the fol- lowing resolution, to wit: Resolved, That the judiciary committee be, and they are hereby instructed to make report to this House on to-morrow morning, of the arrangement of counties within the judicial circuits now contemplated. And on the question, shall this re- solution be adopted? The ayes and noes being demanded by two members: Mr. Ewing voted in the affirmative. And those who voted in the negative -were, Messrs. The President laid before the Senate, a report from the se- cretary of state, accompanied with a catalogue of the books, and an inventory of furniture in his office; which were read, and ordered to lie on the table.
