“Pour me a glass of wine, and all is forgiven,” said Ava, deciding that she’d pouted long enough. Plopping into one of the chairs that surrounded Carmela’s small wooden dining table, Ava ran long fingers through her tousled hair and gazed at the colorful papers and tags that were spread out on the table.
