OF CERTAIN PUBLIC OFFICERS.
AN ACT in relation to the Payment of Feet for CommisBions by Persons appointed to Office, appointments to which office for full terms, are required to be confirmed by the Senate.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of tlie State of Delaware in General Assembly me...t : state tax SECTION I. That whenever the Governor shall commission mii88?oSiB to office, such officers as he is or may be authorized by the to omoere. Constitution or by law to commission, any person whose ap- pointment is required to be confirmed by a majority of all the members elected to the Senate, it shall be the duty of the Collection Secretary' of State to collect from every such person appointed as herein stated, as fee for the commission which he shall Proper- receive, proportionate part of the fee which he is by law re- partf* quired to demand and receive for the full term to which the appointment to said office is limited, in the ratio of the time which from the date of the appointment to the last day of the next session of the Senate, will bear to the full tenn to which said appointment is limited.
