7. Be it further enacted, That in case of ia- 2 solvency of the Bank hereby created, or of ultimate ina- 3 bility on the part of this corporation to pay, the individu- 4 al Stockholders shall be liable to creditors, in sums double 5 the amount of stock by them respectively held in said corporation.
Sec. 8, Be it further enacted, That the Directors shall 2 be allowed to keep open the subscription books until the 3 whole of the Stock shall be taken.
Sec. 9. Be it further enacted, That if a Direct...or or 2 any other officer, agent or servant of said Corporation 3 shall embezzle any of the funds belonging to said Bank, 4 with the intent to defraud said corporation, or make false 5 entries upon the books of said Bank, with intent to de- 6 fraud said Corporation, or any other person whomsoever, 7 said officer, agent or servant, shall be held and deemed 8 guilty of Felony, and upon conviction thereof by due 160 9 course of law, shall be punished by fine at the discretion 10 of Court, and imprisonment, not exceeding five years.
