H. Conference Seminary, he had charge of the board- ing department. In 1826, June 21, the subject of this sketch married Sally Stone, a native of Grantham, who died October 21, 1877. Clement, and daughter of Abner Johnson, M. D. , and Mary Quimby. Rufits S. Howe, the son of Peter Howe and Polly Colby, was born in Hopkinton, March 17, 1832.
