Quantitative relations are stressed through problem solving .-Mid laboratory experi- ments. Approximately one half of the second semester laboratory work is devoted to qualitative analysis. Three hours lecture, one hour discussion, and one three-hour laboratory period each week.
20-21 Organic Chemistry A systematic study of the compounds of carbon including both aliphatic and aroma- tic series.
