On straight lines, and on all curves up to and in- cluding '6 degrees, 4 feet 8^ inches will be the gauge used.
From 3 degrees to 5 degrees, 4 feet 8 5-8 inches; from 5 degrees to 7 degrees; 4 feet 8 3-4 inches; from 7 degrees to 9 degrees, 4 feet 8 7-8 inches; and from 9 degrees to 11 degrees, 4 feet 9 inches, must be the gauge used.
JOINTS.
Where the short angle plate is used the joints of the rails must be exactly midway between the joint 206 MAINTENANCE OF WAY STANDARDS.
