The portico, door-head and trimmings about the door are of the same material. The portico, with balcony, is supportecl by massive pillars of polished granite and surmounted by the coat of arms of the State.
The ajjartments used for offices are very spacious, fitted throughout in the most approved modern style, and each de- partment is supplied with one or more of the finest fire-proof vaults.
