The dear youth were among the first to share in spiritual blessings. Connected in our schools with faithful teachers, some had entered the Christian life, and came to the convention rejoicing in hope. Others, and older ones, includ- ing heads of families, were led to deep seriousness during the day and evening, so that, at the close of the services in the evening, it was found that quite a number during these services had chosen the good part, and resolved to live a new life. Each day after, an...d on the succeeding Sabbath, and still on, from day to day, were cases of hopeful conversion, until some seventy were ready to testify to spiritual blessings in their own hopes.
This good work was not confined to us. It was early visible in other churches. Franklin was the first to share. On the very next Monday, in their annual Concert of Prayer, the church was wonderfully refreshed ; others were found inquiring, and two or three were already rejoicing. West Medway was also greatly blessed. Milford, and Holliston, and East Med- way, together with Medfield and Wrentham, found occasion for gratitude in view of the many accessions to their several churches.
