Lovell was passed in character but not examined in the course of study on the ground that he was to be left without appointment to attend Gammon Theological Seminary. He made hi...s report. John J. Blanton and Merritt H. Hinton were examined and passed in character and made their reports. They were discharged from the Conference course of study, having been previously ordained elders. William Crawford, James A. Laughlin and Charles E. Ball were passed in character, and, having com- pleted the course of study, were elected to Elder's Orders.
Chisam W. Walton was passed in character and left in studies of the fourth year.
