I calcalate that to trsCnsport the above forces to Bohemia will take 31 days, to Austrian Silesia 18 days ; by that time the Saxon Army will be ready, 24,000 men. General total, 175,000 men.
If we order a general mobilization' at the same time as the Austrians, we shall be able to put down a force very superior to that just summed up, sad it is evident that the defects of .the- Austrian railway system will give us great advantages if we take the initiative.
