After the hunting season is over, too many hunting rifles are cased up, put into the closet and traded for skis, bowl- ing balls or some other piece of recrea- tional equipment. Unfortunately, a great number of these firearms will not see the light of day until the following hunting season. By that time, it's too late for a hunter to properly prepare himself and his firearm for adequate use in the field. The hunter who has not taken the time to sight in his rifle may take a couple of different attitudes toward the predica- ment into which he has gotten himself: (1) He may just say to himself, "Well, 'Ol' Betsy' just can't be off from last year.
