This mid-year gathering affords teachers time to conduct research, compare notes, and prepare for the April Youth Heritage Festival. The Research Center staff provided special archival training for school librarians who accompanied their teachers to the Summit meeting. Attached to the Society and funded by the Liz Claiborne and Art Ortenberg Foundation, the project currently works with schools in fifteen Montana communities.
