The family moved to Lawrence when he was in infancy, and he was educated in the public schools of that city. From the grammar school he went to Lawrence High School, graduating therefrom in the class of 191 1. He then went to Lowell Textile School for a year, from there going to Harvard Dental College. He received his professional degree in 1916, and in that year opened an office for practice at No. 608 Bay State building, Lawrence, which is still his address, and he has in the meantime develop...ed very satisfactory connections, his clientele being quite wide. He has a good reputation as a dentist.
During the war Dr. Galloway was in service, being commissioned a first lieutenant and assigned to the Den- tal Corps. He is a member of the Blue lodge of the Masonic order, and is an Episcopalian, a member of St. John's Church, of Lawrence.
Dr. Galloway married, in 1918, Marion B. Beach, of Lawrence, daughter of Irving E. And Ida (Brown) Beach, a soap manufacturer of the place. Dr. And Mrs. Galloway have one child, a daughter, L.
