IV. Notarial legislation. — The order of July 12, 1886, regulates the forms in which authentic deeds are to be made up by the notaries in the Congo. Such deeds « are to be enforced in the whole territory of the Congo Free State and are to be held as conclusive evidence before the courts unless there exists written proofs to the contrary.
