RANGE The specimens of palustris examined in this study were from the mangrove swamps near San Bias, Nayarit, and northward to near SEVEN NEW WHITE-WINGED DOVES 15 Mazatlan, Sinaloa. This race also occurs in some mangrove swamps and adjacent woodlands southeast to localities in Guerrero, but further study of museum collections and additional field work will be needed to determine distribution in more detail.
