I took a hot biscuit and gazed into the fire, wondering when He was going to be ready.
*** THE FAMILY CAME home in a double gig. Grandma, Aunt Lucy, and Aunt Jane were with them. I jumped up to greet them.
Grandma and the others stayed two days and brought with them the outside world, robust and hearty.
