CATTELL, President of Select Council. Approved this sixth day of May, Anno Domini eighteen hundred and seventy-one, (A. D. 1871.) DANIEL M. FOX, Mayor of Philadelphia. AN ORDINANCE Granting permission to Frank McBride to erect a flag staff at corner of Still- man and Jefferson streets, in the Twenty-ninth Ward. Section 1. The Select and Common Councils of the City of P/dladelphia do ordain, That permission be and the same is hereby given to Frank McBride to erect a flag staff at corner of Still...man and Jefferson streets, in the Twenty- ninth Ward, in front of his hotel : Provided, The permis- sion hereby granted shall be revocable by the City of Phila- delphia, by the passage of an Ordinance or resolution to that effect without notice: And provided, That the said Frank McBride pay into the City Treasury, for the use of the City, 201 the sum of twenty-five dollars to pay for the publication of this Ordinance ; all Ordinances to the contrary hereof not- withstanding.
