"Rebekah? Jonas Carver mentioned you'd be by soon. He told me about your band, how's that going for you all?" His uniform looked decently tidy, but it was still rent-a-cop, not state police, if Zack had it right.
"Not horrible. No major contracts yet, but I figure it won't be too long before someone picks us up, if only for the novelty factor. The All Vampire Band. It just has a ring to it, don't you think?" The guards both did, but also didn't act like she was about to suck their blood.
