The opening of this Novitiate is the crowning of the work un- dertaken by the Congregation of the Hoy Ghost when it founded, five years ago, the junior scho- lasticate of Ihiala for Nigerian \outh. This house of formation has more than 90 students. They pursue their secondary studies there before entering the novi- tiate, and the five novices of to- day are the first fruits of this important undertaking.
