What reading level is Our South American Trade book?

The second class is represented by a few great business houses which control the bulk of our export trade to South America. Handling this trade with all the skill that it demands, and hence free from the faults to which attention will later be called, they frighten away possible competitors by availing themselves of favorable opportunities to exaggerate the difficulties that lie in the way of its... extension. It is well known that the chief competitors of the United States in the commerce of South America are Germany and Great Britain.
