He went to Ohio in 1813; when he left the widow rented to Thomas Gray. Gray's lease had 7 years to run; the lease was in writing; the widow wrote it; kept one; and gave one to Gray. Gray was my Grandfather ; he came 15 there in 1814. Mrs. Bayard died 1st January, 1816; Gen. St. Clair died afterwards.
