Still, there is now, and there will be for a long time, more scope for administrative work of a useful practical sort, in the Central than, perhaps, in any other of the Indian provinces. At Nagpore there is as yet small opportunity for the showy legislation of Bombay and Bengal; but throughout the vast territory of which it is, the capital, there is an illimitable field for the engineer, the miner, and the agriculturist.
