A new line is being laid out from Santa Lucrecia, on the Tehuantepec road, to Campeche, designed to link the United Railways of Yucatan with the National Railways system. The Mexican Southern Rail- road extends from the city of Puebla, about 100 miles southeast of Mexico City, to Oaxaca, in 46 TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE the State of the same name and thence about sixty miles to Ejutla.
