As soon as the state of the Funds w...ill admit, there shall be at least three Professors attached to the Semmary, viz : — one of Biblical Literature } one of Systematic Theology ; and one to teach the three last branches enumerated in the foregoing distribution, to be denominated the Professor of Ecclesiastical History. In the mean time, the labors of the Professors shall be divided in such manner as the Trustees may direct, and as shall most conduce to the usefulness of the institution.
SEC. n. Each Professor, as soon after his appointment as prac« ticable, shall exhibit to the Board of Trustees, for their approbation and advice, an account of the mode of instruction he proposes to pur- sue, and a syllabus of the lectures he means to deliver.
