He fears the voice of fools — their sneering jeers, More than eternity, awake his fears : He fights, and meets with an untimely grave, Or else a murderer's conscience here must brave. Beneath the ragings of these angry storms Pride grows contemptible, wakes no alarms ; SIN THE CAUSE OK MISERY.
