He is an activist. 1 say that as complimentary, not as critical. He s an activist and basically he and some of the community leaders didn t exactly get along in terms of tactics and in terms of approach. There was a lot of frayed nerves, you might say, on both sides. I haven t been out there for several years, but at the time I thought not only he but his group ran an excellent school.
