The committee on benevolent enterprises, reported the fol- lowing, which was adopted : REPORT.
Your committee appointed to prepare resolutions on the benevolent enter- prizes of the day, present the following : 1. Resolved, That the American Bible Society have our approbation and hearty co-operation in distributing the Holy Bible throughout our land, and tJie whole world, and that we commend this great enterprize to the blessing of Al- mighty God.
2. Resolved, That we cultivate and encourage a missionary spirit in our Synod and congregations, and that we unitedly labor with, and pray for our Home and Foreign Missionary Societies.
