The northerly wing of the building is to be used as a reading room, the southerly wmg as a child- ren's room and for book shelves of free access to the public. Upon one side of the entrance on this floor w^U be the librarian's, on the other the Secretary's office. Space is provided for a check-room.
The mezzaine floor, wdth large open space around the circular light well and with ample w^all space will serve for exhibits.
