Ducks must have a pond of clean water, and then they will not fail to keep themselves clean. This is a very simple matter, as ample accommodation for a pen of ducks, that is, a house, yard and pond, can be provided at small outlay. More especially is this the case when a handy man undertakes it.
A great diversity of opinion exists as to whether ducks can be made to pay when every requirement has to be provided.
