The city of Los Angeles for a number of years has been engaged in the generation and distribution of hydro electric power. We have something like $25, 000, 000 invested in that project now.

Mr. CRISWELL. That is in connection with the Owens River Aqueduct. We have not power possibilities sufficient to meet our demands for power, and we have for some years been looking about, prospecting for other power sites.
