What reading level is Psychology in Daily Life book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:
Corollary: Dare to be ignorant of many things. Nature provides for rigid selection in all direc- tions by setting limits to our capacities, thereby forcing instinctive selection of interests and favor- ing the formation of ruts. We may, however, vastly enhance the serviceableness of our memory by a deliberate selecting of lifejnterests which we shall take seriously by our nature and choice as well as by the force of circumstances. To remem- ber serviceably is to reach promptly the data de- sire...d; and, to do this systematically, the mind's eye must be trained to focus automatically upon the desired memory-object. If one is to be a banker he should train himself actively and systematically to remember facts per- taining to banking! not that he should limit his interests to banking; he must have life interests, such, for example, as pertain to social life, to health, or to intellectual pursuits. But these inter- ests should be only a few out of the many toward which he might be inclined by nature.
