But we "can't dwell," as the auctioneers say; so we will go Sparta- ward, thanks to our stop-over checks — no; to the conductors, for the checks — they are an obliging set of men — act as if it was the greatest pleasure in the world to exchange checks every time we hint that we want to see more of the wonders of the world.
