3. Lying, profaneness, drunkenness, theft uncleanness, gambling, or other improprieties, shall be punished according to the nature and gravity of the otiense.
4. All practices inconsistent with the due observance of the Lord's Day are expressly pro- hibited.
5. If any student shall quarrel with, insult, or abuse a fellow student, or any person what- ever, he shall be punished as the Faculty, in view of all the circumstances, may determine.
6. It is required of all students to exhibit respectfii...l deportment to the officers of the Uni- versity ; and if any student shall disobey any of the lawful commands of his teachers, or shall, either in speech or action, manifest disrespect towards any of them, he shall be required to make due acknowledgement, and shall be fur- ther dealt with as the Faculty may judge proper.
7. If any student shall refuse to appear per- sonally before any officer of the University, when required so to do, he shall be punished for contempt of authority, 8. Any student who may be required so to do, shall open the door of his room to any officer of the University ; and if he refuse, the officer may break it open, and the expense of repairing it shall be defrayed by the student, who shall also be punished for disobedience.
