These bonds bear date July 1st, 1859, and are redeemable at the pleasure of the State af- ter the year 1865. They were delivered) to t he President of the Susquehaunah Canal Company and Tide Water Canal Company, as appears by his receipts of June 10th, 18S9. Thus much the committee have deemed it proper to state., in detail, in reference to "the several issues'' of the State's ster- ling debt.
