Pinchard's Island. — School matters here are very satisfactory. A change of teachers' has also taken place here. Mr. Harnett, after three years of successful work left to attend B. F. College, and another has taken his place. Six pupils passed Preliminary C.H.E. Examinations and three Primary. Fifty-five pupils was the enrolment for the year.

Fogo extends from Ragged Harbor to Change Islands, inclusive, including all islands within the said limit...s.
Board of Education— Rev. E. A. Butler, Chairman ; Wm. Earle, Saml. Harnett, Kobt. Irish, Aaron Stone, James Jones, Wm. Furze.
Population— 1,2^ ; Gran^— $904.80.
This District is now well supplied with schools, nine being in operation for the whole or part of the year. The number of pupils enrolled, not including High School, was three hundred and fifty-eight and the average attendance two hundred -and fifteen, or nearly sixty per cent, of the number enrolled. At Indian Islands matters were much in the same state as last year.
