Later in the year will occur the annual meeting of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew of the Protestant Episcopal Church. This convention will be held in the city of Buffalo, October 13 17, 189...7. It will be the first international convention of all the Brother- hoods in the different national churches of the An- glican communion. In addition to probably 1,500 representatives from the Brotherhood in the United States and Canada there will also be delegates from England, Scotland, the West Indies, and possibly Australia. All the bishops of the Anglican com- manion have been invited to attend the convention, and some of them have signified their intention of being present.
The work of the convention will be devotional and consul tive rather than legislative.
