Article 691. When it becomes necessary, in the opinion of the City Physician, for the preservation of health or the prevention of disease, to use any disinfectant, or to use any other precaution therefor, the Mayor may, by consent of the Council, order the same to be done, and it shall be deemed a misdemeanor for any person in this city to fail or refuse to obey siich order. Article 692. Between March 1st and December 1st of each and every year disinfectants or dry earth shall be used in every ...privy, vault or sink, at least once in each week, and in all other places when directed by the City Physician as often as may be required. Article 693. If any person in this city shall, after receiving notice that any house, privy or premises of any kind owned by him or under his control as agent, tenant or otherwise, is in an unclean or unhealthy condition, fail or refuse to place the same in such sanitary condition as may be prescribed by the City Physician or City Council within five days from the date of such notice, he shall be deemed guilty of maintain- ing a nuisance, and on conviction thereof before the Recorder's Court shall be fined in any sum not less than ten dollars nor more than one hundred dollars.
