Crosby's resolution. Mr. Acker offered the following amendment to Mr. Crosby's resolution: To insert after the words "Albany Evening Journal" . " or with the publishers of any other daily newspaper published in the State." Mr. Crosby accepted the amendment offered by Mr. Acker. President Choate — The question is on the adoption of Mr. Crosby's resolution as amended. Mr. Becker called for the reading of the resolution as amended. The Secretary read the resolution as amended, as follows: Resolved..., That the Committee on Printing be, and is, directed to ascertain and report upon what terms a report of the proceedings of this Convention can be procured to be published in The Albany Argus and the Albany Evening Journal, or with the publishers of any other daily newspaper published in this State, and also the gross amount that the representatives of said papers will agree that the aggr^egate expense of such publication shall not exceed. The Chair put the question on Mr. Crosby's resolution, as amended, and it was determined, on a rising •vote of 32 to 36, in the negative.
