''Roose- velt, " Dr. Hale insists, "is first of all a physical marvel. He radiates energy as the sun radiates light and heat, and he does it apparently without losing a particle of his own energy. It is not merely remarkable, it is a simple miracle that he can exhibit, for one day, the power which emanates from him like energy from a dynamo.
