When any approved minister is religiously con- cerned to attend one of the other Yearly Meetings on this continent, and a few meetings in the im- mediate vicinity of the place where the said Yearly Meeting may then be heM; or if it is a concern, specially and solely, to visit the meetings within one or two of the Quarterly Meetings belonging to it, he or she is to spread the same before their respective Monthly Meetings, as provided for in the case of re- ligious service within the limits of ou...r own Yearly Meeting, and when united with, a certificate or min- 102 MEETINGS OF MINISTERS AND ELDERS. ute adapted to the occasion is to be made and signed, as previously directed by the clerks of the men's and women's meetings, and by one of the correspondents also.— 1812, 1834, 1893. ^ If the concern of a Friend is only to attend a Yearly Meeting, a minute of the concurrence of the Monthly Meeting therewith will be sufficient ; but if the con- cern embraces a visit to a considerable num.ber of the meetings composing such Yearly INTeeting, though it may be with or exclusive of any prospect of attend- ing it, and likewise in either case, such meetings as may be on the way in going or returning, or if it in- cludes a visit to the meetings of more than one Yearly Meeting ; after a certificate for that purpose has been obtained from the Monthly Meeting, the concern, together with the certificate, is to be laid before the Quarterly Meeting, that if concurred with, an en- dorsement to that efifect may be made thereon.
