The Symptoms of Abortion.
If more than one cow out of a herd meets with abortion, it is cause for suspicion and should be thoroughly investigated, and a careful watch put on the entire herd. Usually an afflicted cow will show a swelling of the vulva, and there is a disposition not to mix with the rest of the herd.
