It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont: SECTION 1. Section 1030 of the Public Statutes is hereby amended so as to read as follows: 21 Section 1030. If a person having the control of a child over fifteen years of age allows such child to be enrolled as a pupil in a public school or in a school in which his tuition is paid at the public expense, he shall cause such child to attend such school regularly during the term for which he is enrolled, unless he is mentally or physically unable to continue or is excused in writing by the board of school directors.
