If any school corporation shall at any time wish to withdraw from said high school district and estab- lish a separate high school, they shall receive from the school corporations remaining in the said district an equi- table amount for their interest in the property of said high 33 school district, to be determined by a board consisting of the county superintendent, county auditor and county as- sessor. The amount thereof shall be paid to the corpora- tion and the sum shall be assessed against... the remaining school corporations as other amounts are assessed. Sec. 7. It is the intent of this act that its provisions shall be additional to any statutory provisions for the es- tablishment and maintenance of high schools. This act shall not therefore be construed to repeal, in whole or in part, any other statute having to do with the establish- ment, maintenance or support of public high schools, ex- cept as herein provided. Sec. 8. "Whereas an emergency exists for the immedi- ate taking effect of this act, the same shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
