But that they are so adequate to all the concerns of an intelligent nature, that they may be rationally fixed upon by men as the ultimate end of all their designs ; yet the folly of this wisdom appears in this, that it suggests those means for the acquisition of these enjoyments, that are no ways fit to compass or acquire them, and that upon a double account.
