Oh, you’re going to do it at last, are you, Miss?’ Frank sat on the bed beside Lizzie and slid an arm to enfold both her and the baby. ‘You seem a bit weary today.’ ‘Of course I am, with this child of yours waking up half a dozen times last night,’ Lizzie snapped, resisting Frank’s attempts to pull her closer.
