“You know, you’re starting to piss me off,” she said.

“How’s the inn?” he asked.
“How’d you know where I was staying?”

“You’re no longer a suspect,” she told him.
“Then why are you here? Why are you guys tailing me and hounding my employees?” And distracting the hell out of me. He kept the last part to himself because he didn’t want her to know the effect she had on him.
