We agreed to make it a shooting day along the seashore, there being, according to the keeper's account, lots of curlews about, in the cliffs and over the rocks, at low tide. Meanwhile, whilst Frank and I undertook that part of the affair, his father would get a boat ready for us for the following day, so as to have some sea-fishing also.
